Its been on my mind to make this handy balm for a long time, so its with great pleasure that I introduce my First Aid Salve which is packed with pine resin!
Pinion resin has antibacterial properties which prevent the damaged tree from getting infected. In this same way, pine resin can also be used to heal our wounds. In addition to being a natural antiseptic, pine sap is also anti inflammatory.
It works well for:
Healing small closed wounds
Eczema
Psoriasis
Acne
Rashes
Chaffing
Tattoo Healing
Ingredients:
Pine resin, cold pressed Australian Olive oil, Black Spruce pure essential oil (only the gentlest amount), Beeswax.
Directions:
Apply to face and body (after patch testing) as needed avoiding mouth and eye areas.
Cautions:
• Always patch test first on inner elbow to check for reactions.
• Check ingredients listed above for any known allergens.
• Do not use near eyes or mouth to avoid any irritation and bad taste from the pine sap.
• Do not use on open fresh wounds.
